1. Introduction

Memolife develops and publishes social games and applications for the web and mobile devices including Memolanguage, Memogym, Memomaps and others (the “Service”). In this policy, "Memolife" refers to  Memogroup AS and its Affiliates, which shall mean subsidiaries, parent companies, joint ventures and other corporate entities under common ownership. We may also refer to Memolife as "We" or "Us".

This Privacy Policy describes:

2. Information we collect

Memolife collects personally identifiable information, such as your e-mail address, name, home or work address or telephone number. Memolife also collects anonymous demographic information, which is not unique to you, such as your ZIP code, age, gender, preferences, interests and favorites.

There is also information about your computer hardware and software that is automatically collected by Memolife. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring Web site addresses. This information is used by Memolife for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the Memolife Web site.

Please keep in mind that if you directly disclose personally identifiable information or personally sensitive data through Memolife public message boards, this information may be collected and used by others. Note: Memolife does not read any of your private online communications.

Memolife encourages you to review the privacy statements of Web sites you choose to link to from Memolife so that you can understand how those Web sites collect, use and share your information. Memolife is not responsible for the privacy statements or other content on Web sites outside of the Memolife and Memolife family of Web sites.

When you use any Memolife game, application or other content at an SNS such as Facebook or Google +, where our games may also be referred to as “applications”, you allow  to access certain information from your profile for that site. The information you allow Memolife to access varies by game and SNS, and it is affected by the privacy settings you and your friends establish at the SNS. You can control and find out more about these settings at the SNS where you play our games. • your physical location and that of your access devices
• your gender
• your birthday

By playing a Memolife game through an SNS, you are authorizing  to collect, store, and use in accordance with this Privacy Policy any and all information that you agreed the SNS could provide to Memolife through the SNS Application Programming Interface ("API").

Information We Collect from You Directly

When you interact with the Service (whether or not on an SNS), at www.memolife.com, or any Memolife-owned website, We may collect and store information from you directly as described below:

Registration Information

We may allow you to “register” with Us by using Facebook Connect or other SNS authentication options to create an account or profile within the Service. We may also provide a more typical registration flow where you may be required to provide the following information: your age or birthday (for age screening and/or to better understand who our users are); your first and last names; your e-mail address; a password and other information that helps Us confirm that it is you accessing your account.

We may also offer you the option to complete a user profile that is visible to other Memolife users. Your user profile may include: a profile photo; one or more game username(s); your gender; biographic details that you provide; links to your profiles on various SNS; details about the games you play; and a Memolife user ID number that is created by  Memolife and used to identify your profile.

Your first and last names and profile picture are considered "public" on Memolife websites that offer direct access to Memolife games and search engines, which may index this publicly available information.

We may also offer you the ability to import your address book contacts or manually enter e-mail addresses so that you can (i) locate your contacts on Memolife; and (ii) invite those contacts to join you in our games. We will store those contacts for purposes of helping you and your contacts make connections on our site. Passwords provided to Memolife for the purpose of accessing your address book will not be stored.

Payment Information

If you Subscribe to an "application" directly from Memolife, We will collect the billing and financial information necessary to process your charges, which may include your postal and e-mail addresses.  Our Terms and Conditions explain our policies and terms relevant to our charges and billing practices.

3. We may collect information about you in any one or more of the following ways:

Information about Players and Play

When you play one of our games,  Memolife collects and stores certain information that you provide directly or through the SNS or other third party website that is offering our game(s). To provide a richer game play and social experience, We also collect information about your play and interaction with other players and the Service. The bulk of this information is collected and stored through the use of Log Files, which are files on our web servers that record actions taken on our games and websites.

Cookies and Automated Information Collection

The Memolife Web site use "cookies" to help you personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a Web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.

One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time. The purpose of a cookie is to tell the Web server that you have returned to a specific page. For example, if you personalize Memolife pages, or register with Memolife site or services, a cookie helps Memolife to recall your specific information on subsequent visits. This simplifies the process of recording your personal information, such as billing addresses, shipping addresses, and so on. When you return to the same Memolife Web site, the information you previously provided can be retrieved, so you can easily use the Memolife features that you customized.

You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to fully experience the interactive features of the Memolife services or Web sites you visit.

4. How We Use the Information We Collect

Memolife collects and uses your personal information to operate the Memolife Web site and deliver the services you have requested. Memolife also uses your personally identifiable information to inform you of other products or services available from Memolife and its affiliates. Memolife may also contact you via surveys to conduct research about your opinion of current services or of potential new services that may be offered.

Memolife does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties. Memolife may, from time to time, contact you on behalf of external business partners about a particular offering that may be of interest to you. In those cases, your unique personally identifiable information (e-mail, name, address, telephone number) is not transferred to the third party. In addition, Memolife may share data with trusted partners to help us perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, provide customer support, or arrange for deliveries. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to Memolife, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.

Memolife does not use or disclose sensitive personal information, such as race, religion, or political affiliations, without your explicit consent.

Memolife keeps track of the Web sites and pages our customers visit within Memolife, in order to determine what Memolife services are the most popular. This data is used to deliver customized content and advertising within Memolife to customers whose behavior indicates that they are interested in a particular subject area.

Memolife Web sites will disclose your personal information, without notice, only if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on Memolife or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of Memolife; and, (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of Memolife, or the public.

In general, We collect, store and use your information to provide you with a safe, smooth, efficient, and customized experience. For example, We may use information collected from you in any one or more of the following ways:

• to create your game accounts and allow play of our games
• to identify and suggest connections with other  Memolife users
• to enable user-to-user communications

• to provide in-game leader boards and promote in-game player achievements
• to solicit input and feedback to improve Memolife products and services and customize your user experience

5. Sharing your information

Third Party Service Providers

We will provide your information to third party companies to perform services on our behalf, including payment processing, data analysis, e-mail delivery, hosting services, customer service and to assist Us in our marketing efforts. We direct all such third party service providers to maintain the confidentiality of the information disclosed to them and to not use your information for any purpose other than to provide services on Memolife's behalf.

Friends and Other Memolife Players

The Service supports and may encourage interaction among players. In most Memolife games your SNS friends will see your name, profile photo and descriptions of your game activity. In many Memolife games friends and other players will be able to see your game profile, which may include your name or a “game name” and your profile photo, which in certain cases can reveal your SNS User ID number or Memolife ID.

Advertising on SNS

When a user acquires a badge in one of our games, we can use the user's basic information, "name", his "Memolife ID" and the profile picture he agreed on when he connected through any SNS, like twitter, Facebook or google+, for our marketing purpose in one of those SNS Applications. We gonna use that information to Congratulate some of our users that succeed in our game and share their success in our Facebook and Google+ Wall.

Advertising of Third Party Products and Services

We do not actively share personal information with third party advertisers for their direct marketing purposes unless you give Us your consent.

We may share (i) aggregated information (information about you and other users collectively, but not specifically identifiable to you); (ii) anonymous information; and (iii) certain technical information (including IP Addresses, MAC Addresses for mobile devices and mobile device IDs) to develop and deliver targeted advertising in the Service and on the websites of third parties. We may also allow advertisers to collect these types of information within the Service and they may share it with Us. Advertisers may collect this information through the use of tracking technologies like browser cookies and web beacons. The information collected may be used to offer you targeted ad-selection and delivery in order to personalize your user experience by ensuring that advertisements for products and services you see will appeal to you, a practice known as behavioral advertising, and to undertake web analytics (i.e. to analyze traffic and other end user activity to improve your experience).

Our collection, use, and disclosure of anonymous or aggregated information are not subject to any of the restrictions in this Privacy Policy.

Sale or Merger

In the event that Memolife undergoes a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, We may transfer all of your information, including personal information, to the successor organization in such transition. If material changes to Memolife's privacy practices will occur as a result of the business transition, We will notify you and other users,  of the business transition prior to transferring your personal information.
